In Option 51 nearly identical to Option 50 above, except that the Zero Air is
generated by an internal Zero Air Scrubber. This means that the IZS inlet can
simply be left open to ambient air.
Like Option 50, Option 51 requires an external gas line greater than 2 meters but
less than 10 meters in length be attached to the Span Vent outlet on the Rear Panel
of the instrument. Span gas must to be supplied at a minimum of 800 cc/min,
preferably 1600 cc/min.
Table 5–1 lists the Open/Closed state of each valve during the analyzers various
operational modes.
