Setting the Telephone Line Type

Use this procedure if you need to change the factory-set telephone line
setting.*
If you are unsure which setting to use, contact your local telephone
company.
1. Press FUNCTION.
Use < < or > > to select USER SETTINGS.

3. Press START/COPY.
Use < < or > > to select TEL LINE TYPE.

Press START/COPY, then use < < or > > to select the correct telephone

line type.
6. Press START/COPY to save the telephone line type.
7. Press STOP to return to standby mode.
*The factory default setting is ROTARY PULSE for all countries except the UK and
Singapore. The factory default setting for the UK and Singapore is TOUCH TONE.
