18. CLEANING

Tip
Your RIKA dealer will gladly advise you about their service and
maintenance offers�
Notices for cleaning of the stove are regularly displayed on the user
interface depending on pellet consumption� The POWER LEDs will be
continuously lit yellow�
Please carry out cleaning!
These notifications can be acknowledged on the user interface
to temporarily continue operation� To do this, press and hold the
OPERATION BUTTON for 2 seconds� Carry out cleaning at the next
opportunity�
After cleaning, reset the cleaning interval by performing a reset (see
Reset - Cleaning interval)�
Tip
The notification will be displayed regularly until you reset the
cleaning interval�
Note
Your stove must be switched off and cooled before any maintenance
work is performed� Only work on the unit when the mains plug has
been disconnected�
Cleaning the flue gas channels and flue
gas collecting duct
The flue gas channels are situated beneath and beside the
combustion chamber�
Now remove the 2 screws and lift the convection fin straight up
Loosen the wing nut and remove the combustion chamber cover�
Now clean the flues and baffles with the supplied brush� Vacuum the
combustion residues with a vacuum cleaner�
Loosen the 2 screws and remove the front panel�

Remove the cleaning lid�
