CAUTION:
Only carry out maintenance when the mains plug of the stove has been removed from the electrical
supply.
The frequency with which your stove must be cleaned as well as the maintenance intervals depends on the
fuel you use. High moisture contents, ash, dust and chips can more than double the necessary maintenance
intervals. We would like to point out once again that you should only use tested and recommended wood
pellets as a fuel.
Wood as a fertiliser
Wood mineral percentages remain in the combustion chamber as ash. This ash is a natural product and is an
excellent fertiliser for all plants in the garden. However the ash should be stored first and "quenched" with
water.
CAUTION:
Embers can be hidden in the ash – only fill into metal containers.
Control Handle Front Door
Your new pellet stove comes with an operating handle that is used for opening or closing the combustion
chamber door.
Cleaning the Pellet Crucible and Ash Pan
NOTE: Clean the fire crucible on a regular basis.
