6. Adjusting the looper thread cam thread guide and the looper thread cam

[Adjusting the looper thread cam]
Adjust so that thread comes off from the hghest place
of looper thread cam 2 when needles come down
and the top end of left needle 3 algns wth the bottom
surface of looper 4 . Then tghten screws 1 to fix the
looper thread cam.

When the thread drawng amount s desred to be de-
creased n case of 2-needle machne or the lke, loosen
screws 7 , move upward thread gudes 5 and 6 and
tghten screws 7 to fix them.
A = Decrease B = Increase
Adjust so that a clearance of approxmately 0 to 0.3
mm s provded between the top end of secton A of
looper thread wndng preventon plate 1 and the end
face of looper thread cam 2 .
