Information
• Suguden will not operate in the following cases.
- When using the speakerphone
- When using the earphone/headset
- When connected with a Bluetooth device with calling function (Mute
(Hold), Disconnect (Voice command), Call (Motion))
- When a call is made/a call is received during a call
- When you are lying down
- When you are doing intense exercises such as going up and down
stairs, running, etc.
- When covering up the display with a book-type smartphone case, etc.
• If you place the terminal in a bag or pocket with the screen ON while
there is an incoming call, in rare cases, Suguden may recognize the
action as a motion and answer or end the call.
• The proximity sensor does not respond well to black objects.
When answering calls, if you press the earpiece over your hair, the
proximity sensor may have trouble working and may cause failure to
answer the call. In this case, please press the earpiece directly to your
ear.
When disconnecting/rejecting a call, turning the terminal over on a
black desk, etc. may cause the operation to fail (cannot disconnect/
reject). In this case, instead of placing the terminal directly on the
surface, raise the terminal 1 cm from the desk, etc. as you flip it over
to operate (disconnect/reject).
• Suguden does not support video calls. Video calls are only supported
by the "Hide the name when receiving" function.
About Disconnect (Motion)
• If a motion is performed, the call will be ended in the following cases.
- While the other party is holding
- When the answering message is active (playing the answering
message/recording a message)
• When a call is disconnected, the fast motion of putting the terminal
with its screen facing down may cause the operation to fail (cannot
disconnect). In this case, perform the action slowly to operate
(disconnect) the terminal.
• Shaking the terminal strongly is recognized as an operating motion
and may cause the call to be disconnected.
About Disconnect (Voice command)
• If a disconnect keyword is detected, the call will be ended in the
following cases.
- While the other party is holding
- When the other party activates the answering message (playing the
answering message/recording a message)
About Mute (Hold), Disconnect (Voice command)
• If Mute(Hold), voice call-ending is ON while talking on the phone, other
apps that use the microphone or audio during a call (such as a call
recording app) may not be available. If you want to use these apps
during a call, turn OFF Mute(Hold) or Disconnect (Voice command)
after ending the call to enable them.
• A call cannot be ended with Mute(Hold) or voice command while the
answering message is running (playing the answering message/
recording a answering message). If you answer the phone while
recording a answering message, you can end the call with Mute(Hold)
or a voice command.
• When you call with "Hanashite Hon'yaku", you cannot disconnect the
call with the voice command.
• Suguden voice command functions use speech recognition technology
and language processing technology. However, DOCOMO is not liable
to the accuracy of these techniques.
• If you speak in a too low voice during a call or you call in noisy
situation, your voice may not be recognized depending on your way of
speech.
About Call
• You can only make a call when the terminal is displaying the Home
screen or lock screen (unlocking method is [Swipe/Touch]).
About Mute, Reject
• Strongly shaking the terminal will be treated as motion and an
incoming call may be rejected.
About Disable Suguden during roaming
• Suguden feature is automatically disabled overseas. To use Suguden
feature overseas, set "Disable Suguden during roaming" to OFF.
