Using Galaxy Smart Switch

Connecting a PC and launching Smart Switch

Connect the terminal to a PC via USB cable A to C (P.132)

Start up "Smart Switch" on a PC
• Follow the on-screen instructions.
Information
• Do not remove USB cable A to C while data is transferred. It may
cause damage of data.
• Before transferring data, check if the battery level is sufficient.
Connecting to printer
You can print on a compatible printer via Wi-Fi or USB connection.
• When using Wi-Fi function, the terminal and printer are needed to be
connected to the same Wi-Fi network or connected via Wi-Fi Direct. Make
settings for wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and printer in advance.
• For compatible connection cables when using USB connection, refer to the
instruction manual of the printer.
• The printer plug-in needs to be installed in advance in order to connect
the printer which is going to be used. To install the plug-in, from the
Home screen, tap "apps folder" → "Settings" → "Connections" → "More
connection settings" → "Printing" → "Add service" and follow the
onscreen instructions.

On a screen of app that printing is available,
"Print"
• Follow the on-screen instructions.
• The method of printing depends on the app.
Smart View
Connect the terminal and Wi-Fi Miracast compatible devices via Wi-Fi
and display the screen and the contents of the terminal on TV or
display.

Tap Wi-Fi Miracast compatible devices that detected
• To disconnect to Wi-Fi Miracast compatible devices, tap the device
connected → Tap "Disconnect".
Information
• The image degradation may occur on the image transmission using
Wi-Fi Miracast due to transcode and send.
