Deck Hydraulics (Deck Fold Cylinder)

Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the PTO and set the parking brake. Stop the engine, wait for all
moving parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Release the pressure from the hydraulic system before servicing any hydraulic related component,
"Releasing Pressure from the Hydraulic System," chapter 7, page 7-6.
6. Remove the center floor pan.
7. Remove the hydraulic lines attached to the lift cylinder.

DECK
WARNING
Keep body and hands away from pinhole leaks or
nozzles that eject hydraulic fluid under pressure. Use
paper or cardboard, not hands, to search for leaks.
Serious injury may occur if hydraulic fluid is injected
into the skin.
WARNING
When disconnecting or replacing a hydraulic hose,
be sure to relieve all pressure from the system by
stopping the engine and lowering or supporting the
implement. Verify new hoses are straight (not twisted)
before tightening the fittings
CAUTION
Use caution when performing this service procedure.
During periods of machine operation the hydraulic oil
reservoir can get hot. Allow engine and oil reservoir to
cool before servicing.
