Step 12 Hold the arms of Mid Base, slightly pull backward and
lift up the Traverse Deck as shown.
Step 13 While holding the Traverse Deck insert the Screw-
driver at the Damper (Location A).
Step 14 Push out the Traverse Deck as shown.
Caution: During dissemble, ensure the Traverse Deck do
not hit to the Slide Cam.
Step 15 Insert the Screwdriver at the Damper (Location B).
Step 16 Push up the Traverse Deck as shown.
Step 17 Remove the Traverse Deck.
Caution: During dissemble, ensure the Traverse Deck do
not hit to the Slide Cam.
Step 18 Before removing the optical pick-up unit, please apply
an ESD Prevention Bag to the OPU FFC.
Step 19 Weld the short-circuit solder.
Step 20 Detach 45P FFC.
