Dots and horizontal streaks appear in the paper feeding direction
periodically
Cause
If dots or streaks of a specific color
appear at intervals of about 75
mm, the green tube of the image
drum is scratched or dirty.
If dots or streaks of various colors
appear at intervals of about 94
mm, the fuser unit is scratched or
dirty.
If the intervals are about 38 mm,
parts inside the belt unit are
broken.
If the intervals are about 34 mm or
43 mm, parts in the image drum
are damaged.
If the intervals are about 30 mm,
there are foreign objects in the
image drum.
If the intervals are about 31 mm,
the resist roller is dirty.
The image drum has been
exposed to light.
Dirt has deposited on the paper
transfer path.

White area is lightly stained

Cause
Static electricity occurs to the
paper.
Thick paper is used.
Solution
Please replace the image drum.
Replace the fuser unit.
Replace the belt unit.
Please replace the image drum.
Open and close the front cover and print again.
If the problem persists, replace the image drum.
Open the front cover and wipe the resist roller with soft
tissue paper.
Install the image drum back to the printer, and leave the
printer idle for a few hours. If the problem persists, replace
the image drum.
Test print a few pages.
Solution
Use the paper stored at appropriate temperature and
humidity.
Use thinner paper.
