Due to the fundamental differences in the firmware between the GV4 v1.x and GV4 v2.0, it is
important to follow the process below. Note that after update of firmware from v1.x to v2.0
the configuration values are set to the defaults.

Updating and sending programming to the control panel:

Click Close. The control panel reboots.
Close the control panel account.
Highlight the updated control panel account in the Panel List, and then right-click the
account and select View.
In the control panel Data View window, click Edit, and then from the Panel Type drop
down list, select the correct control panel type with [V2.00 or greater] (i.e. D9412GV4
v2.00 or greater), and then click OK.
Prior to sending data to the control panel, confirm the new, automatically changed
configuration values match those needed for the control panel. Make any necessary
changes.
Open the Version 2.00 control panel account and click the Connect icon. The Panel
Communication dialog box appears.
Temporarily change the passcode in the RPS Passcode text box to 999999, and click
Connect. (On the next connection, you will not need to change the passcode to connect
to the panel (the account's passcode is used.)
The Panel Sync dialog box appears.
Select Send ALL Updated RPS Data to Panel and click OK. Note: Do not select Receive
Panel Data.
The firmware update completes and you can exit RPS.
Test the control panel for operation.
