1 Remove the base
2 Remove the battery.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
2 Note the speaker-cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides.
3 Remove the screws that secure the speakers to the palm-rest assembly.
4 Lift the speakers, along with the speaker cable, off the palm-rest assembly.
