6. Check the fluid level when the PTT rams
are fully extended. If the fluid level is low,
add sufficient fluid, and then repeat
steps 4 and 5.
Installing the PTT unit
• After tilting the swivel bracket up, make
sure to support it using the tilt stop
lever.
• When installing the PTT unit with the
power unit installed, make sure to sus-
pend the outboard motor.
1. Connect the PTT motor leads to the bat-
tery terminals to retract the PTT rams.
