Disassembling the oil pan and
exhaust manifold
1. Remove the water pipe a, rubber seal
b, muffler c, gasket d, plate e, and
gasket f.
2. Remove the rubber seal g, exhaust
manifold h, and gasket i.

3. Remove the oil pan j, and then remove
the oil strainer k and gasket l.

Checking the oil pan and exhaust
manifold
1. Clean the removed parts.

2. Check
the
exhaust
manifold,
and
muffler.
corroded or cracked.
3. Check the oil pan. Replace if corroded or
cracked.
Checking the oil strainer
1. Check the oil strainer. Clean if there is
dirt or residue.
Assembling the oil pan and exhaust
manifold
Do not reuse a gasket, always replace it
with a new one.
1. Install the dowels a and new gaskets b
and c onto the exhaust guide d.
2. Install the oil strainer a, and then tighten
the oil strainer bolts e to the specified
torque.

Oil strainer bolt e:
12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 8.9 ft·lb)
3. Install the oil pan f, and then tighten the
oil pan bolts g temporarily.
