Setting the Time Zone

About this task
You can set the time zone from your endpoint or the XT Series web interface.
You must set the same time zone for all three XT Codec Units in your Avaya XT Telepresence
deployment.
Before you begin
If configuring from the endpoint, you must first enable advanced configuration, as described in
Deployment Guide for Avaya Room System XT Series.
Procedure
1. Access the time zone settings. From the XT Series web interface, select Administrator
Settings > System > Date & Time > Time Zone. From the endpoint's main menu, select
Configure > Advanced > System > Date & Time > Time Zone.
You need to enter the PIN required to access the Advanced settings. The default PIN is
1234.
August 2020
Description
Enter the name which appears in the local endpoint title bar and in the
remote endpoint interface (if connected).
Select the location of the XT Series. This populates the other fields
automatically.
Select the language used in the XT Series endpoint's interface.
Select the European or US audio coding, used by audio equipment in
your location.
The video refresh frequency depends on the country, and may be 50Hz
or 60Hz. If you set it to <auto>, the system assigns the standard of the
chosen country.
In Japan, where the video frequency can vary, manually choose the
value for your location.
Enter a numeric code to replace the leading '+' symbol when placing
outgoing calls. To disable the expansion, clear the field.
