Chapter 2: Setting up the Telepresence
Creating the telepresence effect requires carefully choosing the telepresence room. This section
contains guidelines to help you choose the optimal room and convert it into the ideal telepresence
room.
You can deploy Avaya XT Telepresence in a standard size telepresence room hosting up to 6
participants or, for special cases, in a dual-row telepresence room for up to 18 participants.
Deploying Avaya XT Telepresence in a dual row telepresence room differs from deploying it in a
standard telepresence room. Be sure to perform only procedures relevant for your deployment.
Choosing a Telepresence Room
The quality of the telepresence experience requires that most aspects of the room are carefully
planned and calibrated.
The size of the room should be carefully chosen to create the maximum telepresence effect.
