Transferring Outside Calls

Making A Hot Transfer

To make a hot transfer,
1. Answer call.
2. Press TRANSFER/CONFERENCE (this places the call on
hold).
3. Dial extension number of telephone to receive the transfer or
press the DSS button for that extension.
4. Announce call.
5. Press TRANSFER/CONFERENCE.
6. Press SPEAKER to disconnect (if in speakerphone mode) or
hang up handset. The person receiving the transfer has the call.

Transferring Calls To Intercom Or Tie Line

To do a quick screened transfer to intercom or tie line,
1. Answer call.
2. Dial intercom number for transfer location.
3. When party at transfer location answers, announce call.
4. Hang up or press preprogrammed RELEASE button.
To do a quick unscreened transfer to intercom or tie line,
1. Answer call.
2. Dial intercom number for transfer location.
3. Hang up or press preprogrammed RELEASE button.
