Field Wiring

Caution
Be sure to keep the power line and transmission line apart from each other.
Be careful about polarity of the transmission line.
Make sure that the transmission line is clamped as shown in the figure in chapter "Field line
connection".
Check that wiring lines do not make contact with refrigerant piping.
Firmly close the lid and arrange the electrical wires so as to prevent the lid or other parts from
coming loose.
When you don't use a wire conduit, be sure to protect the wires with vinyl tubes etc., to prevent
the edge of the knock-out hole from cutting the wires.

The interconnecting wiring between the outdoor units in the same pipe line must be
connected to the Q1/Q2 (Out Multi) terminals. Connecting the wires to the (Out-Out)
terminals results in system malfunction.
The wiring for the other lines must be connected to the F1/F2 (Out-Out) terminals of the P-
board in the outdoor unit to which the interconnecting wiring for the indoor units is
connected.
The base unit is the outdoor unit to which the interconnecting wiring for the indoor units is
connected.
The interconnecting wiring between the outdoor units must be 30 m in length at maximum.
Electric box
(A1P)
Use the accessory clamps (1)
to retain them to the electric box.
