Move the print-head carriage.
Press [MENU].

Press [ ] several times to display the screen shown below.

Press [ ] once, and then press [ ] several times to display the screen shown below.

Press [ENTER].

After "NOW PROCESSING.." is displayed and the print heads move, the screen shown below
appears.
OPEN MAINTENANCE

Open the front cover.
D
Open the maintenance cover.
Remove the screw on the top of the maintenance cover, tilt the maintenance cover forward slightly,
and then pull out the maintenance cover in the direction indicated by the arrow.
The screen shown below appears.
FINISHED?
IMPORTANT
Do not press [ENTER] at this stage. Press [ENTER] after cleaning is complete. If you press [ENTER] at this stage, the
screen shown below appears. Select [NO] and start over from the beginning.
