8.12 LEADING EDGE ERASE MARGIN ADJUSTMENT

1. Place a 150 mm scale perpendicular to the left scale on the exposure
glass.
2. Adjust the leading edge erase margin using SP41. Make three copies
and check the erase margin.

8.13 REGISTRATION ADJUSTMENT

2. Adjust the registration using SP42. Make three copies and check the
registration.
The leading edge erase margin is not within the
adjustment standard.
To maintain the correct leading erase margin.
2.5 ± 1.5 mm (0.1 ± 0.06")
SP41 (0.4 mm/step, 16 steps)
Changes the erase lamp on period.
Registration is not within the adjustment standard.
To maintain proper registration.
0 ± 2 mm (0 ± 0.08")
SP42 (0.4 mm/step, 16 steps)
Changes the registration roller start timing.
