– Charge Corona Current Adjustment –
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD
DC – 400 ± 3 µA
NOTE: 1) VR1 on the CC/Grid/Bias power pack spare parts is pre-adjusted.
Usually it is not necessary to adjust VRM when the CC/Grid/Bias
power pack is replaced.
2) Keep the high voltage wire terminal [A] away from the copier
frame. Otherwise, electrical leakage may interfere with current
measurement.
1. Turn off the main switch.
2. Disconnect the charge corona terminal [A] from the CC/Grid/Bias power
pack [B].
3. Select the dc 2mA range on the digital multimeter.
4. Connect the multimeter leads as shown, then measure the charge corona
current.
NOTE: Keep the multimeter leads away from the main board.
5. Turn on the main switch, close the front cover safety switch and turn on
the charge corona using SP9-2.
6. Adjust the charge corona current to –400 ± 3 µA by turning VR1 on the
CC/Grid/Bias power pack.
7. Press the Clear/Stop key and turn off the main switch.
