Some computers in this series are equipped with
a Wireless LAN mini-PCI card that is compatible
with other LAN systems based on Direct
Sequence Spread Spectrum / Orthogonal
Frequency Division Multiplexing radio technology
that complies with the IEEE 802.11 Standard
(Revision A, B or G), and Turbo Mode.

Slim Select Bay is a single-drive bay that
accommodates a DVD-ROM drive, CD-RW/DVD-
ROM drive, DVD Multi drive, DVD±R/±RW drive,
secondary hard disk drive or secondary battery
pack. The TOSHIBA Mobile Extension enables
hot insertion of modules when you are using a
plug and play operating system.
