2. Authentication and its Application

User Code Authentication

This is an authentication method for limiting access to functions according to a user code. The same user
code can be used by more than one user. By specifying user code authentication, you can limit the printer
functions available under each user code.

This can be specified by the machine administrator.
For details about logging on and logging off with administrator authentication, see "Logging on Using
Administrator Authentication", "Logging off Using Administrator Authentication".
1. Press the [User Tools] key.
