Completing the upgrade

1 Log into the system.
2 Verify CPU and CNI functionality:
LD 135
STAT CPU
STAT CNI

Make a backup of the customer database on 2MB diskettes:
3 Load the Equipment Data Dump Program (LD 43). At the prompt, enter
LD 43
4 When "EDD000" appears on the terminal, enter
EDD
5 When "DATADUMP COMPLETE" and "DATABASE BACKUP
COMPLETE" appear on the terminal, enter

6 Evaluate the number of call registers and telephone buffers that are
configured for the system. Refer to Capacity Engineering
(553-3001-149).
The card replacement procedure is complete.

to begin the data dump
to exit the program
CAUTION
System Failure
If the data dump is not successful, do not continue;
contact your technical support organization. A data
dump problem must be corrected before proceeding.
