4-2-2 Waste Ink Counter Succession
The current status of the waste ink counter succeeds when replacing Main Board ass'y or the
button-type lithium battery on the main current board.
The following is the ink counter succession procedure.
1. Start the MFP service mode. (
2. Print out the service pattern.
3. Scribe a note of the waste ink counter value on the service pattern. (The value on
"D=NNN.N" on the 1st line)
4. Replace Main Board ass'y or the button-type lithium battery.
5. Start the MFP service mode.
6. Input the waste ink counter value, as 10% is the maximum limit.
Ink Counter Level
*Input 0-90% according to the number of printout copies (14,000 copies = 100%) if the waste ink
counter value is not succeeded.
4-2-3 Button-Type Lithium Battery Installation
Button-type lithium battery is not installed to Main Board ass'y. Purchase and install new battery.
