The system displays a Bluetooth ( ) connection icon in the header bar.
Disabling a Bluetooth connection
Procedure
1. Press Menu.
2. Select Connections.
3. Select Bluetooth.
On an intrinsically safe handset, the handset restarts.
On a 3745 handset, the handset does not restart.
4. Select Disable.
The system displays the Bluetooth disabled message.

Changing the headset profile

About this task
Use this procedure to select an appropriate headset type to achieve optimal audio quality.
Procedure
1. Press Menu.
2. Select Connections.
3. Select Headset.
4. Select one of the following :
• Mic on boom: Optimizes audio.
Important:
The headset type Mic on boom is unavailable as an accessory for the intrinsically
classified handset. If available, do not use the headset in hazardous areas.
Note:
When Bluetooth is disabled and an active call is in the loudspeaker mode on an
intrinsically safe handset, the audio is not transferred to the headset when connecting it.
5. Press Select.

System

The handset can subscribe up to eight different systems.
