Basic operations
In a small IP-DECT system where a single IP-DECT Master is used, the parameter is not changed.
The default ID is 0.
In a large IP-DECT system where several IP-DECT Masters are used, the parameter can be
changed depending on the IP-DECT Master.
Note:
If the handset is going to log on to another IP-DECT Master, the user can override the default
Master ID by entering the Master ID and the User ID in the following format: <*><Master
ID><*><User ID>

Enabling the shared phone using WinPDM or Device manager

Procedure
1. Select Systems > Common > Shared Phone.
Note:
In the Default Master ID field, change the master ID.
2. In the Phone mode drop-down list, select one of the following:
• Personal: If the handset is intended to be used by one user only.
• Shared: If the handset is intended to be shared by several users. Each user can log on to
the handset to obtain their personal extension number.
3. If a personal extension is converted into a shared extension, do the following:
• Unsubscribe the handset.
• In the Phone mode drop-down list, select Shared.
• Subscribe the handset.

Turning the audible signal on or off

About this task
Use this procedure to turn the audible signal on or off.
Note:
If the parameter Disable permanent mute is enabled, you cannot turn off the audible signal.
Before you begin
The handset is in idle mode or rings.
Procedure
Long press the Sound off button.
