E le c tric a l S h o c k H azard. The S afe D isable fun ction can sw itch o ff the drive output, b u t does n o t cut the drive p o w e r s up ply
a n d ca n n o t e le c tric a lly iso la te the drive o u tp u t from the input. A lw a ys shu t o ff the drive p o w e r s u p p ly w hen performing^ m a in te n a n c e o r
in sta lla tio n s on the drive in p u t side as w e ll as the drive ou tput side. F ailure to c o m p ly w ill re su lt in de ath o r serious injury.

A ll s a fe ty fea tu res (in clu d in g S afe D isable) s h o u ld be in s p e c te d da ily a n d periodically. I f the system is n o t opera ting
norm ally, the re is a ris k o f seriou s p e rs o n a l injury.
O nly a q u a lifie d tech nician with a th o ro ug h un de rsta n d in g o f the drive, the in stru c tio n m anual, a n d s a fe ty stan dard s sho uld
b e p e rm itte d to wire, inspect, a n d m a in ta in the S afe D isable input. F ailure to c o m p ly m a y re s u lt in seriou s in ju ry o r death.
From the m o m e n t te rm in a l in pu ts H1 a n d H 2 ha ve opened, it takes up to 1 m s fo r drive o u tp u t to shu t o ff com pletely. The
se q u e n ce s e t up to trig g e r term in als H1 a n d H 2 s h o u ld m a k e sure th a t bo th term in als re m a in op en fo r a t le a s t 1 m s in o rd e r to p ro p e rly
in te rru p t drive output. This m a y re su lt in the S afe D isa b le In p u t n o t activating.
The S afe D isable M o n ito r (ou tp ut term in als D M + a n d D M -) sh o u ld n o t b e u s e d fo r a n y o th e r p u rp o s e than to m o n ito r the
S afe D isable status o r to d is co v e r a m a lfu n ctio n in the S afe D isable inputs. The m o n ito r o u tp u t is n o t c o n s id e re d a safe output.
