Copier's condition
An original has been left
on the exposure glass
and the error message ap-
pears on the display.
Set OPC belt cleaning.
Staples do not come out
at all.
Paper misfeeds occur fre-
quently.
IF YOUR COPIER DOES NOT OPERATE AS YOU WANT
Remove original.
Touch the [Yes] key to clean the OPC belt. If
you are in a hurry, you can select the [No] key
to continue copying. After the job is finished, this
display will appear again.
There are jammed staples in the stapler.
Remove jammed staples.
After clearing jammed staples, staples might not be
ejected the first few times you try to use the stapler.
Is the right kind of paper in the paper tray?
Paper size and weight must be within the
specifications for this copier.
Is folded, wrinkled, damp, or curled paper in the
paper tray?
Always use, dry, undamaged paper.

Is the paper properly set in the paper tray?
Always load paper correctly.
Are there any pieces of misfed paper or other
materials in the copier?
Make sure that the paper path is completely
clear of paper and other material after a misfeed.
