Startup characteristics
All LEDs are switched on when the power is restored. After a few seconds, the LEDs are set
according to the current operating state.

Color
Meaning
Red
Group error:
Lights up when the TS Adapter IE detects an error situation on the modem
port or Ethernet interface.
This LED also indicates firmware download operations.
Red
Bus error:
Lights up when the TS Adapter IE detects a static error in the Industrial
Ethernet.
Off when the TS Adapter IE is communicating without error over Industrial
Ethernet.
Green
Lights up when the TS Adapter IE is supplied with the necessary power.
Green
Indicates data traffic between the TS Adapter IE and the internal modem.
The LED flickers when data are being transferred.
Yellow
Lights up when a remote connection is established to the TS Adapter IE via
the internal modem.
Off when the remote connection is down.
Flashes three times when the default configuration has been applied after
pressing the P RES button.
Yellow
Indicates data traffic at the Ethernet port of the TS Adapter IE.
The LED flickers when data are being transferred.
The LED is located behind the front panel.
Green
Lights up when the connection at the Ethernet port is active.
Off when the connection at the Ethernet port is cut.
The LED is located behind the front panel.
