Disassembly Procedures
NOTE: Requires removal of oven from cabinet.
1. Turn off power to oven.
2. Remove convection fan blade and spacer washer,
refer to convection fan blade procedure.
3. Remove rear lower access panel from the oven.
4. Disconnect and label wires from convection fan motor.
5. Remove screws securing convection fan motor
assembly to rear insulation retainer.
6. Transfer hardware (C clip, mounting plate, etc.) to
new convection fan motor.
7. Reverse procedure to reinstall.

Main Top Assembly

NOTE: Requires removal of oven from cabinet.
1. Turn power off to oven.
2. Open door and raise up to remove oven door from
hinges (optional).
3. Remove screws securing main top assembly to oven
chassis. Located under front trim cover.
4. Raise and brace open main top assembly.
5. Label and disconnect all wire terminals.
6. Remove rear lower access panel from oven.
7. Remove screws securing rear main top assembly
brackets.
8. Reverse procedure to reinstall.
Drip Baffle Removal ( if so equipped )
1. Remove surface elements and burner bowls.
2. Raise maintop and support with supporting rod.
3. Remove screws securingdrip baffle to range front
frame and side panels.
4. Reverse procedure to reinstall drip baffle.

Ribbon and Haloring Burners

1. Refer to main top assembly steps 1 through 4.
2. Loosen bracket securing burner being replaced.
3. Label and disconnect wire terminals.
4. Remove screw securing burner to burner bracket.
5. Reverse procedure to reinstall.
Automatic Oven Door Latch Assembly
1. Turn off power to oven.
2. Remove or open oven door.
3. Remove three screws in front securing main top
assembly to chassis on smoothtops only. Raise and
secure main top assembly.
4. Disconnect and label wire terminals.
5. Remove screws securing latch assembly to chassis.
6. Reverse procedure to reinstall door latch assembly.
TO AVOID THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH,
DISCONNECT POWER TO THE OVEN BEFORE SERVICING.

Door Plunger Light Switch

1. Refer to main top assembly steps 1 through 4, and
drip baffle procedures (if so eqipped).
2. Label and disconnect wire terminals from switch.
3. Squeeze metal tab and push switch outward to
remove.
4. Reverse procedure to reinstall.

Oven Light Bulb/Oven Light Socket

NOTE:
May require removal of oven from cabinet.
1. Disconnect power to range.
2. Unscrew (counterclockwise) glass knurled dome.
3. Using a glove, unscrew (counterclockwise) oven light
bulb.
Proceed with the following steps for oven light socket
removal.
4. Remove galvanized lower rear cover from range.
5. Carefully displace fiberglass insulation away from rear
of light socket.
6. With a flashlight, locate four tabs securing light
socket to oven liner. While pushing light socket
(towards front of range) depress the four tabs inward.
Light socket will release into oven cavity.
7. Disconnect wires from light socket.
8. Reverse procedure to reinstall light socket. Reposition
insulation around lamp socket. Do not overtighten.
NOTE:
Reposition Fiberglass Insulation around Oven
Light Socket to Eliminate Possibility of Heat
Related Problems.
