Setting up an internet connection with static
IPv6 address
Configuration procedures:
Step 1
Click IPv6 to enter the configuration page.
Step 2
Switch the IPv6 button from
Step 3
Select Static IPv6 Address from the Connection Type drop-down list box.
Step 4
Enter the IPv6 Address provided by your ISP.
Step 5
Enter the Default IPv6 Gateway for your IPv6 internet connection.
Step 6
Enter the Primary/Secondary IPv6 DNS provided by your ISP. If your ISP provides only one
DNS address, keep the secondary IPv6 DNS blank.
Step 7
Select the IPv6 LAN Address type and set the related parameter.
Step 8
Enter the IPv6 LAN Prefix Length.
Step 9
Enable/disable DHCPv6 of the router.
Step 10
Select the DHCPv6 Address Assignment Method as required, and set the related
parameters.
Step 11
Select the IPv6 DNS type and set the related parameters.
Step 12
Click OK at the bottom of the page.
