6. Reinstall pin into impeller shaft and turn shaft so pin is
horizontal.
7. Align thrust collar with pin and install thrust collar over
pin.
8. Move impeller shaft as far through gearcase rear as
possible.

9. Reinstall flange bushing onto impeller shaft end. With
a driver, strike bushing until positioned just below
retaining ring groove. See Figure 136.
10. Reinstall retaining ring. See Figure 137.
11. Turn impeller shaft by hand to make sure shaft rotates
easily.
