Installation Site
• Do not install the equipment in hot and humid locations
such as bathrooms or in locations (excluding
veranda installations) that are exposed to wind and rain.
Splashing
With Water
Doing so may cause a short circuit, and result in electric shock or fire.
Prohibited
This may also cause the equipment to malfunction.
• When using the equipment outdoors, such as on
a veranda or in the space under the eaves, attach
a roof like a sunshade above the equipment, and
install the optional discharge top.
Water or rainfall directly splashing the equipment may cause
a short circuit, and result in electric shock or fire. This may
also cause the equipment to malfunction.
Ventilation
• If no humidity duct (venting hose) is fitting, the room shall be provided with air
vents which communicate directly with outside air and are sized in accordance
with the following table:

• If humidity duct is connected, air vent is not necessary.
Power cord
• Do not pass the power cord under or allow it to come
in contact with the equipment.
