The Following Symptoms Are Not Equipment Malfunctions

Cause and Remedy
Cool operation is being performed to lower the temperature
inside the drum. (three minutes of continuous operation
followed by intermittent operation of the drum for a maximum
of 48 minutes) Wait for the equipment to automatically stop.
To stop operation midway, press the "Start / Pause" switch,
and when the drum has come to a complete stop, press the
"Power" switch with the front door open. The SOFTEN&COOL
lamp goes out and operation stops.
Air sometimes enter the gas hose when the equipment is
used for the first time or the equipment has not been used for
a while. The re-ignition function automatically operates just
once.
Cool operation is being performed to lower the temperature
inside the drum. Wait for the operation/combustion lamp to
light (red). (approx. 2 minutes at most)
When the ignition/light out safety interlock operates, "
displayed, and cool operation stops midway,
operation proceeds to ignition after the equipment is cooled
for two minutes (replacement with fresh air) before start of the
next operation. Wait for the operation/combustion lamp to light
(red).
White smoke sometimes appears to come out of the discharge
port on cold days. This is not a malfunction.
This is the gas ignition sound. This is not an abnormality.
This sound occurs when buttons, fasteners, etc. attached to
clothes rub against or bump against the drum. This is not an
abnormality. (Turn clothes inside out before drying them.)
This sound occurs when the burner is shrinking after it has
expanded due to heat. This is not an abnormality.
A delay of approximately 5 seconds is provided to prevent
explosive ignition. This is not an abnormality.
The gas may be repeatedly lit and extinguished in order to
properly regulate the temperature inside the drum. This is not
a malfunction.
To adjust the estimated time until end of operation and the
actual end time, the same time is sometimes displayed for
five minutes or more, or the remaining time is sometimes
lengthened or shortened.
