Cleaning does not work effectively and the nozzle condition cannot be
improved. Also, if the head is not capped correctly, the head dries and it
may cause the head nozzle clogging.
Generally, we do not recommend to wipe the surface of Head with a
cleaning stick. Howerver, it's worth trying before replacing the Head.
Soak the cleaning stick in cleaning liquid fully, and then tap and scrub
the surface of Head with it.
Ink suction during cleaning does not work and the nozzle condition
cannot be improved.
When the machine keeps printing with ink cartridge almost empty, the
negative pressure delivered in the ink tube causes the improper ink
supplying and the head cannot fire the ink correctly.
If the cartridge tab does not stick out when the cartridge is empty, Ink
Empty cannot be detected and printing continues without firing ink.
Also, if the sensor is not working, Ink Empty cannot be detected even if
the cartridge tab sticks out.
If there is a bad communication between the head and the Main Board,
the signal for driving head is not sent properly and results in not printing
properly. If the Flexible cable is fixed slanted, it may cause the bad
electrical contact or shortcircuit. And, the cable which has been
connected and disconnected several times may have a damaged
terminal.
If the Head is not capped correctly, the Head dries and it may cause the
Head nozzle clogging.
When air bubbles come inside the Ink line, the head may not fire the
Ink temporarily. Air bubbles tend to go into the Ink line if Ink Cartridge is
installed and uninstalled so many times. The air bubbles inside the
lines can be removed by performing the powerful cleaning or using a
syringe.
If the tube has air due to the looseness of the tube joint, fix the joint and
remove the air.
In case of 6 color mode, the F1 Fuses are for C and M, the F2 Fuses
are for Y and K, and the F3 Fuses are for Lc and Lm. If the C and M
Heads do not fire the Ink at all, the F1 Fuse may be defective. If the Y
and K Heads do not, the F2 Fuse may be defective. If the Lc and Lm
Heads do not, the F3 Fuse may be defective.
In case of 4 color mode, the F1 Fuses are for C and M at the left side of
Print Carriage, the F2 Fuses are for Y and K, and the F3 Fuses are for
M and C at the right side of Print Carriage. If the C and M Heads at the
left side of Print Carriage do not fire the Ink at all, the F1 Fuse may be
defective. If the Y and K Heads do not, the F2 Fuse may be defective. If
the M and C Heads at the right side of Print Carriage do not, the F3
Fuse may be defective.
There might be a problem with the other devices on the Head Board if
the Fuses are not defective.
