22. DDNS registration failed or cannot access the device domain name
a. Ensure you are connected to the WAN
b. If on PPPoE please check to see if the device has got the IP address
c. If there is a router, please check the router to make sure the device is online
d. Check the corresponding protocol of the DDNS is enabled
e. Ensure the DNS settings are correct, default Google DNS server is 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4.
If there is continued problems please contact your ISP for the recommended
DNS settings
23. I cannot use the P2P function on my cell phone or the web browser
a. Ensure P2P is enabled on the recorder by going to the network settings
b. Ensure the recorder is connected to the WAN
c. Ensure the logon username and password is correct
d. Check P2P SN is correct, you can use the application to scan the QR code
on the recorder P2P menu or you can use the SN info on the web browser
to confirm
