d. Playing Backup Files
When backing up footage the default/native format of the file will be 'DAV' file format. To
play back DAV files on a Windows PC you must first download our 'Smart ICRSS Player'
which can be downloaded from our support page on www.c2max.com
If you require viewing the files on a Mac OS please use ASF as the file format when backing
up. ASF files can be played back using VLC Media Player which can be downloaded from
'http://www.videolan.org'

1. Download and install our
'Smart ICRSS Player'.
2. Insert backup media into
the PC.
3. Open the device or media in
Windows Explorer.
4. Double click on a file and it
will launch the player and
begin to play.
Note: To change where the
snapshots or recordings are
saved to, select the settings
cog on the top right and
browse to select a new path:
