11. EVENT SETUP

Access the menu by going to Main Menu > Settings > Event and be selecting Detect MD on
the left panel.
The Event page allows you to setup responses to Motion, Video Loss and Tampering events
that occur on your device.
On the top you have 3 tabs for Motion Detect, Video Loss and Video Masking. These 3 tabs
work in the same manner but for different events.
Motion Detect (aka MD) – this refers to motion that is detected with the video image it
works by analysing pixel change from within the image, in this tab you can setup the
sensitivity and actions for motion detection.
Video Loss – in this menu you can setup what the recorder does when video is lost on one
of the channels.
Video Masking – in this menu you can setup what the recorder does when the recorder
detects the camera is being masked or tampered with.
