The bottom section of the Motion Detect menu allows you to setup the linkage settings for
when motion occurs.
Period – Allows you to set a schedule of when motion alerts will activate
Anti-dither – this is the amount of time the recorder will hold the event for before
processing a new event, the max time that can be set is 600 seconds (10 minutes)
Pop-Up Message – when this box is ticked it will display a notification on the local screen
ARC Upload – when ticked the device will send an alarm command to compatible
monitoring station
Send Email – when ticked it will send an email message to the email receivers that are setup
in the network section
Record Channel – at default the selection the channel you are currently on will be selected
but if required you can also get the system to start recording other channels when motion is
detected
PTZ Activation – this setup menu allows you to call a preset of a PTZ camera when motion
is detected
Delay (After) – this time parameter allows you to set the amount of time it records after the
event has ended
Tour – this option when enabled brings the camera full screen on your local monitor
Snapshot – as well as recording video you can also save snapshots of the event, also when
snapshot is enabled it will also send a snapshot to the email receivers
Buzzer – when ticked the on-board buzzer will sound for the duration of the event
