1 Display of transmission
Blinks when a signal is being sent to an indoor unit.
2 Operation mode display
Displays status during operation.
• "Auto" can be set only for cool/heat simultaneous operation
systems.
3 Preset temperature display
Displays the preset temperature.
4 Display air flow / flap
Displays "fixed" or "swing" for air direction.
5 Inspection / test operation display
When the inspection / test operation button is pushed, displays
whether the system is in the inspection or test operation mode.
6 Fan speed adjustment button
Each time this button is pushed, fan speed toggles between
"high" and "low."
7 Temperature control button
Push to set temperature.
8 Air flow direction adjustment button
Push to set the air flow direction to "fixed" or "swing."
9 Inspection / test operation button
Push for inspection or test operation.
∗ Works only for indoor unit set to have cool/heat selection permission.

10 Filter sign reset button
After cleaning the filter, push to cancel the air filter cleaning time.
11 Operation mode selector button
Push to switch the operation mode. ∗Note
12 Timer ON/OFF button
Push to turn the timer on or off.
13 Programming time button
Push to set programming time.
14 Time mode START/STOP button
Push to start or stop the timer.
15 ON/OFF button
One push starts the system, and a second push stops the system
again.
16 Display of fan speed
Displays set fan speed.
17 Display programmed time
Displays programmed time.
18 Battery change display
Blinks to let you know it is time to replace the battery.
19 Transmitter
Transmits signals to the indoor unit.
