Follow these steps to make sure your cash register works well.
• Your register must remain uncovered when turned on. This allows the
electronic components to properly cool.
• Use a dust cover when the register is not in operation to protect mechanical
components from dust.
• Keep beverages and other liquids away from the machine to avoid spills which
can damage electronic components. Use the optional protective key top cover to
prevent damage to the cash register, especially in restaurants and other locations
where food and drinks are sold or prepared.
• Keep the cash register away from dust, dampness, or extreme hot or cold
temperatures.
• To clean your cash register, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use harsh
solutions containing alcohol or ammonia.
• After storing your cash register in extreme temperatures (below 32 degrees
Fahrenheit or above 104 degrees Fahrenheit), allow the temperature inside the
machine enough time to reach room temperature before turning it on.
