7 IMPORTANT!
Tape around the top of the shaft to protect the
seal rings.
Press the shaft onto the seawater pump housing,
preferably with the aid of a vise.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure that the shaft is mounted on the O-ring
correctly and that the seal rings are held in place.
Try rotating the shaft when it is mounted.
NOTICE! Preferably use a sleeve to press on the
lower ball bearing (1) until the retainer ring groove
in the pump housing is visible.
8 Fit the retainer ring into the groove in the seawa-
ter pump housing.
CAUTION!
Risk of eye injury. Eye protection required.
