Evaluation
COMOS proceeds as follows to evaluate the "Connector table" tab in the engineering data:

COMOS uses the function codes to check whether the
pipe or the valve is included in the list of special parts.

The connection types of the pipe are determined.

The contact faces and connection types of the valve
are determined.

COMOS checks which connecting part is set in the
connector table of the subclass for this combination.

The function code of the flange is evaluated and the
pipe part type is determined this way.

COMOS determines which preselected component is
set for the weld neck flange pipe part type.

COMOS determines which connection types and con‐
tact faces are set at the preselected component.
Step by step, COMOS then connects the pipe parts via their connectors. The connector tables
are evaluated again in this step and the required connecting parts are created:
