Polling means "picking up" a docu-
ment that has been left for you at a re-
mote fax terminal.
Limitation
❒ Polling can only be used when
both machines have the Polling
feature.
Note
❒ With polling, telephone line costs
are charged to the person receiving
the message (the Message Receiv-
er).

Elsewhere (Polling Reception)
Use this feature when you wish to
poll a message from another terminal.
Note
❒ The number of terminals that you
can poll in one operation is one.
