Introduction

The Terminal Emulation Menu Screens are provided to sup-
port terminals running NORAND
software. This section describes the menus used to set op-
erating and scanning parameters for the hand-held comput-
er. Additional information can be found in the program-
mer's guide or technical overview for your particular
emulation program.
Keyboard Functions
Some keys on the hand-held computer have special func-
tions, which can vary depending upon the application soft-
ware. General function keys (keys that perform the same
task, regardless of the application) are described in the fol-
lowing paragraphs.
Yellow and Blue Shift Keys
Use the yellow and blue shift keys to put the keyboard in
the desired (yellow or blue) shift mode. These shifted key
functions are shown on the keyboard overlays in Appendix
C.
