10. Separate the main-unit board kit [13] by holding the metal cover as shown in
lifting up the back of the PCB.
11. Slide the main board towards the back of the chassis [11] and carefully lift it out of the
chassis. Hold the main-unit board kit [13] by the edges only, and store it in an antistatic bag.

6.2.3.3.2 Main-Unit Board Kit Reassembly

To assemble your radio:
1. Prior to reassembly the radio, inspect the poron pads [12], [18] and poron pad (VCO) [19] for
damage or dirt. Refer to
numbers, and replace parts, as necessary.
2. Take out the main-unit board kit [13] from the antistatic bag by holding the edges of the board.
3. Paste the new poron pad [18] to the main unit board kit [13] as shown in
