Confirmation Items
(7-1-4) Check of connections

S ignal cord for motor Check to see if the FFC is properly plugged in
driver PCB, EXIT the RELAY
Connector ⑧ of the PU PCB and the PUIF
sensor cord
connector ㉒ of the junction PCB (P6Y PCB).
Check to see if the cord is properly connected in
the junction PCB (P6Y PCB) and EXIT sensor.
Signal cord for motor Check to see if the cords are caught under any
driver PCB, EXIT other part, or have any peel-off of the covering
sensor cord or any assembling problem.
(7-2) Paper exit jam occurs right after feeding paper
Confirmation Items
(7-2-1) Check of state of running route
Face-up stacker Check to see if the cover is completely open or
cover closed.
Duplex pull-in gate Conduct the Motor and Clutch Test of the self-
diagnostic mode, and check to see if the Duplex
pull-in gate operates normally.
Make sure that it is duly on the exit side.

Rear panel C heck to see if the rear panel is installed
properly, and if it is not obstructing the paper
running route.
Running route in Check visually for any load that obstructs
delivery section running of paper along the route of the delivery
section. Check to see if the delivery rollers are
stiff in rotating.
(7-2-2) Check of state of mechanical parts
 
S ensor lever of exit C heck to see if the sensor lever demonstrates
sensor any abnormal shape or motion.

7. TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEFRURES
Confirmation Tasks

C onduct the Motor and Clutch Test of the self-
diagnostic mode, and check to see if the fuser
motor operates normally.
Make this checking in the presence and
absence of a load.
Check the connected state of the cord.
Check visually for any incomplete connection or
skew
insertion of the DCHEAT connector ④ of the
PU PCB or any assembling problem of the cord.
Confirmation Tasks

Replace the
