Trip Statistics
To reset trip statistics readouts:
Press the MENU key to display an options

• Reset Trip ODOM/AVG GS – Resets trip aver-
age ground speed readout and odometer
• Reset Odometer – Resets odometer readout
only
• Reset Maximum Speed – Resets maximum
speed readout only
• Reset All – Resets all trip statistics readouts

select the desired reset option and press the

Scheduler
The scheduler feature displays reminder messages
(such as "Change oil", "Switch fuel tanks", "Overhaul",
etc.). One-time, periodic, and event-based messages are
allowed. One-time messages appear once the timer expires
and reappear each time the G1000 is powered on, until
the message is deleted. Periodic messages automatically
reset to the original timer value, once the message is
displayed. Event-based messages do not use a timer, but
rather a specific date and time.

• Type (event, one time, periodic)
• Date
• Time
• REM (remainder)

AUXILIARY PAGE GROUP
To enter a name:
Select the AUX UTILITY Page.
Press the FMS knob. Turn the large FMS knob
to select the flight scheduler name field.
Turn the small or large FMS knobs to enter the
desired name and press the ENT key.
To enter a type (event, one time, periodic)
Select the AUX UTILITY Page.
Press the FMS knob. Turn the large FMS knob
to select the scheduler type field.
Turn the small FMS knob to display the options
list.Turn the small or large FMS knobs to select
the desired type and press the ENT key.
To enter a time:
Select the AUX Utility Page.
Press the FMS knob. Turn the large FMS knob
to select the scheduler time field.
Turn the small and large FMS knobs to enter
the desired time and press the ENT key.
To enter a date:
Select the AUX Utility Page.
Press the FMS knob. Turn the large FMS knob
to select the scheduler date field.
Turn the small and large FMS knobs to enter
the desired date and press the ENT key.
