Define Custom

The Define Custom screen allows you to define a custom monitoring group that only collects the
data you specify. You select the desired MIB parameters from the Available Data column, then
moving them into the Current Data in Group column. All of the available MIB-II and VPNet
Enterprise parameters in the Monitoring Groups are available.
Name. Enter the name you wish to call your custom group.
Current Data in Group. This is a list of the individual enterprise MIB parameters that
compose your new Group.
Available Data. This is a list of all possible enterprise MIB parameters you may select to
monitor. Use the Move Left arrow to transfer the highlighted parameter into the Current
Data in Group column.

Frame Errors The number of packets dropped on this port
because of frame errors.
Overflow The number of packets dropped on this port

available.
Lost Carrier The number of packets not transmitted on this

Xmit Collisions The number of packets not transmitted on this

Time The number of packets not transmitted on this

Timeout Errors The number of packets not transmitted on this
port because of time-out errors.
Retry Overflow The number of packets not transmitted on this
Errors port because of retry overflow errors.
Miscellaneous The number of packets dropped on this port
Errors because of other miscellaneous errors.
